Shipping Area and options
Ashford Hobby ships to any location in the continental US as well as Alaska and Hawaii. Ashford Hobby ships via All available UPS and UPSP 1st Class and Priority mail, Web site will estimate shipping charges. Sorry but at this time we are not accepting overseas orders.
Privacy & Security
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you provide us. Our credit card processing is done at the SSL level and no card information is transferred to our server. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.
The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your shopping experience at Ashford Hobby. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our store, improving our products and communicating with you. Ashford Hobby believes information about our customers is an important part of our business. We are not in the business of selling customer information to others.
Payment methods
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Pay Pal, Certified or Bank Checks & Money orders. Payments made with Checks or Money orders will be shipped approximately in 10 days, in order to allow sufficient time for funds to clear. No COD shipments.
Credit Card Verification and Address Verification

The Card Security Code (Cvv2) is an added security feature to help protect you against online fraud.

Pay Pal

We will only ship to the confirmed address on your Pay Pal account. If you are requesting a different ship to you will need tocomplete the following form and submit it to us.

Visa, Master card, and Discover

For Visa and Master card there are 3 digits on the back of the card in the area shown by the graphic on the right.

American Express

For American Express there are 4 digits on the front of the card in the area shown by the graphic on the right.

Backordered items policy
An item is considered a backorder item if we do not have the item in stock (you will be informed of this by a pop up window when you add an item to your shopping cart), and it is on order with the manufacturer. If an item you ordered is on backorder, we will email you to let you know when we expect the item in our store. If the backorder item is expected within two weeks we will hold the rest of the order and ship the entire order when the backorder item is received, but if you would like the rest of the order sent immediately you need to inform us to ship available product.

Return policy

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any item for a full shop credit. If a refund is requested we may required a 15% restocking fee to cover packaging, handling and Bank fees. If you need to return an item due to a mistake in shipping on our behalf we will issue a full refund or replacement, which ever is requested. We will also refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error. In the case of a defective item we will assist in getting a replacement directly from our venders or we will replace it from our inventory depending on which will be faster for the customer.

Due to the nature of electronic products such as motors, brushes, batteries, etc., all sales are final. Nitro engines will not be covered for anything other than a clear manufactures defect, warrantee decisions on these items to be made by the importer or vendor of the specific product.

If you need to return an item, please request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) by emailing us at . We will send you a RMA number as well as detail address and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender at sender's cost.
We do not accept returns under the following conditions:
*Items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery.
*Items that were special orders.
*Items that have been personalized to your specific needs.
*Items that are not in their original condition, have been damaged, have missing parts, or are not packed in their original package.

Please do not send items that do not meet the conditions listed above, as we do not issue refunds for non-qualifying items and cannot return those items back to you.

You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps.
Place the items in their original packages. Securely pack the items in a box, along with the packing slip (receipt).
Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box. Print you RMA number on the label or the out side of the box.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund or credit once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 5 business days of our receiving your return.

Price and/or Description Changes
All prices, pictures and descriptions on this site and all other Ashford Hobby publications are subject to change. Ashford Hobby maintains no responsibility for inadvertent errors. In the event of typographical errors on our site or in our publications, Ashford Hobby reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders at its sole discretion. Please contact us within 30 days regarding price or promotion discrepancies.

Limits of Responsibility

Ashford Hobby is not responsible for any personal injuries or death as a result of abuse or mishandling of a product that has been purchased from Ashford Hobby.
