There are three different Ackermann settings possible.
The steering plate is mounted with the upper level facing upwards as shown

When using front long suspension arms with a low down stop setting and large caster setting, we suggest using the included modified front upper arms to prevent the steering plate from hitting the upper arm. The modified front upper arms are not available as a spare part and in the rare case that you need a replacement, please purchase the standard front upper arms and modify them with a Dremel(TM) tool, making sure to take adequate safety precautions and wear safety glasses.
